March in a nutshell

I am slow at posting so here are a few in one. We had the pine wood derby and Zach and Tyson both got to participate this year. We figure in all we will have about 11-12 years of this. It is fun to see Jim work with the boys on their cars and to see the boys creativity. It is also fun to see their excitement in racing. This year they invited the whole ward to participate. The cubs went first and then everyone else. After being there for 4 hours I left and they weren't even finished! My kids had a good time and even won some races. (even Kati who wrapped a block of wood out of the box in wrapping paper and a bow)

Zach wanted a birthday party and since we do not do them often we figured it would be fun. We really like to do fun things as a family but we also like to have fun with friends. He had some friends over and just played and ate junk food. Zach had a great time and I think we successfully sent everyone home full of sugar!! Thanks to all for celebrating with Zach.Yeah!! Track season started! Kati was invited as a freshman to the varsity indoor track meet. She had a good experience and did well. I was banished to the balcony to try and video and take pictures and talk to Jim who was home with the boys. I did not get any good pictures but I never do so nothing is new. I am excited for the season to continue.

FHE at the Fords. The Lutz's were our latest victims. It was so fun to see the kids get into this game and even funnier to see the adults. I think Dorothy won???

Joshua, Nathan, and Parker have matching green-stripes sweaters. How fun.

What is the game that you are all playing? It looks like you had a great month. I hope it is warmer there now. It sure isn't here yet. I'm ready for spring, actually, that should say summer. I want to skip spring.

Hope you don't mind me crashing your blog. Found its link on Julie's blog.
What is the FHE game? Looks like lots of fun.
Can't believe how time has flown. I remember you introducing Jim at after an single's ward FHE. Glad to see you're both so happy. Looks like you've got a wonderful family.

A blast from the past,

What does Katie run in track? Sounds like her Mom! And I liked the look of that game--what is it? I think I could use it!
