Our kids were out of school for Spring Break this week. We tried to do some fun things but all they wanted to do was spend time with their friends. (aren't they with them all day in school???)
Kati spent the week in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and NY with Orchestra on a tour trip. She is having a great time but we miss her and nothing is quite as much fun without her.
We went with our friends to Chicago to the Museum of Science and Industry. We have been here many times before and we love it. We missed the Harry Potter Exhibit by a few weeks but we will definitely be back. Us Harry Potter fans will have fun with that.

Jacob's friend Nick Bode came with us. He kept us very entertained. I do think they enjoyed the children's play area the most.
They had baby chicks hatching and we watched this one hatch and it toddled over and looked right at Parker. He was fascinated.
They had a great train exhibit and Parker was all set to spend the whole day just watching the trains. We were able to pull him away but we managed to come back a few times.
Jacob wanted real Chicago Pizza so we went to Giodarno's and had pizza (deep dish) . We love this and had a good time. We stopped on Lake Shore Drive to see Navy pier and to see the skyline. While we were here Kati texted me a picture of the NY skyline from the top of the Rockefeller Center. It was fun.

Looks like lots of fun! I love the picture of the skyline...where was that taken?
Maybe when you go to see the Harry Potter exhibit we could come too!
I want to see Harry Potter too. Or do anything with your family.
Sounds like lots of fun. You have a way of making things fun for your kids. Love ya.
Sounds like a trip back to Chicago. Wouldn't a family trip be fun?
Sounds like a great Spring Break! That museum looks cool, too! It must be fun to live in a place so different from Utah! Good for you, it sounds like you really enjoy your kids, Jenny!
