November in a nutshell

Yes I had a birthday too. The kids worked on a fun cake with Fondant that Kati made. It looked great, but by this point no one wanted cake and we just looked at it for a few days and then threw it away.
Tyson had surgery and then Parker had his birthday. You can see the cotton in his ear, no gory pictures now. The arrows are for the scavenger hunt for Parker. Kati did a great job this year.

We had Kelli and Steve up for Thanksgiving. The kids had so much fun in the basement creating lego creations we often wondered if they were down there at all. For having 9.5 kids here for several days we enjoyed a lot of quiet. We love shopping with Kelli and Steve for the Black Friday Sales. Some of the best times. Here is Sydney enjoying the chocolate pie. Is there anything better!!

Then it snowed and snowed and snowed. It has been cold since so we still have all that snow. Kati is teaching me the art of positive thinking. " Isn't it beautiful!! We live here so we might as well be happy about it." Thank you Kati, I really am working on it. Jim was stuck at home until he could shovel his way out and was interrupted several times for work phone calls. I am not sure this picture looks like we are enjoying ourselves in Wisconsin!

Might as well enjoy it. At least it isn't as bad as you had in Fargo, is it. Maybe next time, if there is a next time, you will try for a warmer climate.
