Happy Birthday Zach!

Today my Zach man turned 10. Zach has been such a great kid. (Zach's blessing day 2 months old) He has always been very independent and determined. For example, when he was 1-2 if he wanted something, he would not ask he would get a chair and buckets, books, pots, boxes and stack whatever he needed to get what he wanted. He was often found on top of the back of the chair pushed up against the fridge to get to the top. (18 months old)(5th birthday)If you tell Zach he cannot do something he will prove to you he can. If he wants something he will push himself until he gets it. Jim told Jacob he would give him some money if he did 25 push ups, at the time Zach was about 5 and wanted the same deal. Zach pushed himself to do all 25 push ups with trembling arms and sweat and tears, but he did it. Zach is the most loving young man and is always the first to hold the babies that come around.(Baby Parker 11-2004) (first race 1 mile) He is concerned about peoples feelings and loves everyone. He is a quiet young man with great insights and thoughtful questions. (Baptism day with Grandpa Lindsey and Grandpa Christensen and Dad) I love to sit and talk with him. (2nd grade)We celebrated today with Zach's favorite thing right now. Star Wars. I tried to make a cake and he was happy that is all that counts. We sure love you Zach!!

What a wonderful tribute to a great kid. I remember all the times I pushed him in his stroller around Winfield Village. Just what a grandmother loves to do. Happy Birthday

What a cute guy! I loved your tribute to him. It was fun to see your Dad in his baptism picture, too! Happy Birthday, Zach! He is just one year younger than my Alli (Feb 27th)!
