I am seriously behind in my updates but life has gotten crazy and ya know....
Kati and Jacob both started track and I really love this time of year. I have enjoyed watching them compete and unfortunately have yet to figure out how to take pictures and cheer at the same time. I got a few pictures at a couple of meets but did delete all the grass pictures taken as I am starting to yell and pull the camera away.
Kati is a freshman and is doing well. She runs the 800, mile or a long relay. She has been invited to a couple of varsity meets and is having a good time. For future reference, Kati passed this girl at the end.
Jacob is in 7th grade and loves to run. He has been waiting a long time to compete in school. He runs long distances and has done really well. He is fun to watch and has a great kick.
Only a few more meets if anyone wants some great entertainment.

Keep running kids. What a great sport to be involved in!
I love watching track meets. They only have stress for about 15 seconds and then it is over. It looks like your kids run longer distances, though, so you might be stressing a little longer.
Wish I could be there to watch at least one meet, but you live tooooo far away. Keep up the running. I've loved watching the cross country races we have seen.
I hope that your weather is warmer than ours. We have been to a couple of Jaimee's, Nancy's daughter's, track meet and have about froze to death. She runs the 100 hurdles, the 100 and the 200. We sure enjoy track also. Hope they do really well.
