Kelli and Steve and their kids came to visit for the weekend. Oh how we love to have them come! They are patient with us and we have a great time. With our families being together there must be the traditional breakfast of french toast and butter syrup. Steve introduced us to this right after we moved to Wisconsin into our new house. He was trying to triple it or more maybe when he added the baking soda, it erupted and went everywhere, we could not stop it. It covered the stove and ran down the sides all over the floor. The kids sitting at the bar thought this was the greatest entertainment of all and started the chant "overflow, overflow!!!". Over the years we always make this when we are together and we always have to chant!! Memories are great and I know in 50 years these kids will have great memories of being with their cousins and overflowing the butter syrup.

My new griddle is now big enough to satisfy the troops!!

Love it! I think you are right, "Overflow" and butter syrup will go down in history!
Thanks for a great time! Wish we could have stayed longer, I wasn't ready to come back to real life! You guys are the best!
It sounds like so much fun. I'm so glad you two are close enough together to enjoy times like that. I'm jealous I wasn't there.
I remember the french toast. My mouth is watering wanting more. Maybe it's wanting to be involved in a family tradition with you.
This summer we should have a big butter syrup overflow thing. But lets do it at Grandma's!!!
I remember doing that at the Gordons. I thought things were getting out of control, but it was a lot of fun. I agree with Sherry, It shoul be at Grandmas.
