Drive Home

One of many highlights on the trip was the kong cone at Maceys. I think it was at least a gallon of ice cream in a cone. It created wide eyes and many days of days of eating, no one could finish it.
As soon as we got back from the cruise we started home. Everyone was tired and ready to be home. The drive home is always longer than the drive out. I haven't figured out how that works yet. We camped again on the way home, we stopped at Mormon Island State Park in Nebraska. It was fun and short. We would probably stop here again.

Driving in the car is always an adventure with 2 teens, and 3 little boys. But when you add suitcases and camp gear and everything else (souvenirs) it becomes a wedge yourself in and be very patient with each other.

I am grateful for good kids. They make life fun and hopefully they will forgive their much more impatient mother. We have great memories of this fun time and all the great family that added to this.

I remember doing all that with many kids, many suitcases, many frustrations and many happy memories. Keep it up!

We're beginning to plan our circle tour of the US that we'll be taking this summer. We'll start by driving to Alabama for reunions and then hope to make our way up north to Chicago and Sun Prairie. Will you be around the first part of June? If so, we might see you then.
