Oh we are having fun!!

We have been having a great time here in Arizona. I have put in a few (ok a lot) of pictures to show how to have a fun time in AZ while its hot!!
Jacob had his first cross country meet and although this is not a fun thing for me to do in the heat he did great! He was 16th in the Freshman race. You can see him in this picture which is really good for me, I usually miss them as I cheer.
This is the sart of the race, you can see the intimidating look in his eye.

In the heat of AZ I spend a great deal of time inside. This is my kitchen, never clean sorry. It is nice but a little smaller than my kitchen in Wisconsin.
This is our living room, again a little smaller than we were used to but, works none the less.

I think you are seeing a theme. This is the music room, dining room and office.

A great thing that Kati and Jacob got to do was the stake road show. This was an awesome experience for them. They were "hickory dickory DOC" Jacob in the scrubs. And the "sexy nurse" Kati in the pink and purple scrubs. They had a great time. This is the youth in our ward. HUGE. I think our old stake had about this many. Good and bad but has been a lot of fun with a lot of opportunities for them.
Here is the surgery on the gingerbread boy. You see the fairy tale theme.

Parker entertains himself in the heat by taking great self portraits, this one makes me laugh!!

Zach and Jim went on a campout with the 11 year old scouts. They had a great time and even went caving(?) during their 5 mile hike.

From the time Parker was very tiny he loves to do homework. I remember a few years ago Parker made Grandpa sit for over an hour working on a workbook. I loved watching them. I love the concentration on his face. I hope he always loves to learn.
A small look in our lives. Have a great day!!

I love the doctor and the nurse, but not sure I would want them to operate on me. Surely glad you are all happy there.

It sounds like an exciting, fun-filled life. If you come to my house don't expect it to be clean either. We have a very lived in house.
