Summertime, Summertime

This summer was busy and short. Oh and hot (imagine that!). We were so excited to have my sisters and my parents come down to Sedona. I went up and spent a few days up there with only adults and had a great time. I think the highlight (sorry everyone else) was of course being with the Gordons again!! My kids could not stop talking about them coming to stay. We have missed them so much! These pictures are in a weird order (oh well). We met the kids at Montezumas Castle for a picnic and a little walk around. It may have been a little lame but I have great memories of those kids together there, well worth it for me!

Us girls did have fun in Sedona, we shopped and ate and relaxed. It was a great time, lets do it again!
Wow summer here is short. The kids only have 6 weeks before they go back to school. It went really fast. It is good because it is hot and we were not able to close on a house with a pool yet so not much to do. We went to the mall and hung out in free AC, reading!
My parents stayed for awhile after the Sedona trip and then took Kati home with them. She spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa Lindsey. She was a candy thrower in a parade in the side car of Grandpa's motorcycle!

The boys and I followed later and got a little side tracked. What an adventure!!
We had a great time at the Lindseys too. Fun time in the hot tub and motorcycle rides, early showing of Harry Potter with Grandmas dish crew ( a little flirting with Kati ).
We went up the mountains, they were so beautiful this time, probably all the rain. We stopped at bridal veil falls.
We had fun playing at Sherry's with her Grandkids (really that still is weird to say but they are the cutest!)
We also spent some time at temple square and downtown Salt Lake. I also love being there!
When we got back, Jacob received a new golf set from cousin Terry (thank you!!!) so now all my boys have their own set and they are determined to golf all they can.

Oh and then school started. Wow see short summer. Kati and Jacob headed off to high school. Do I really have a senior!!
Zach started junior high this year. What a fun thing for him. Tyson and Parker are in 5th and 1st. This is a fun time in life, but pretty busy.
Parker with his class on the first day. He was excited to be a first grader but he is the only one that would rather stay home.
Jacob took Parker golfing 18 holes and Parker was about as excited as anyone could be. He golfed every hole and even got a legit birdie. Way to go Parker!
