I knew this summer would be crazy and go by fast and see now it is almost over and I think school just got out. Before I know it winter will be here and I will be pining for summer again. But until then I will let you in on some of our happenings. Parker had been excited for weeks to see his idle Dora. This started off our summer!
Then we were able to have Jim's nephews Mitchell and Kalin come out for a week. Jim took the older kids to have a lot of fun in Chicago. They played in Lake Michigan and went to the Hancock building.

They finished the day with a Brewers baseball game with great homeruns in the last inning.
We also showed them around Madison and fed the ducks in Lake Menona. Cold in Madison in July.
The three little boys played baseball this summer and we enjoyed watching Parker in his first year of tee ball so funny to see this age try to learn baseball.
Jim received a new church calling to be the scout master. This calling came one week before scout camp. Sooo.... he got to go for as much as he could and I think he had fun as did Jacob. Jacob won the camp wide ironman competition that involved running and push ups and situps I think. I am grateful to the men who are willing to remain boys at heart and help these boys have a good experience at scout camp!! I sure wouldn't want to go, I just don't get it.
More to come later with the trip of all trips in later posts.
