We got to Utah just in time to attend my 20th high school reunion. (UGH) On Friday night some of the members of the seminary council got together. It was fun to see them again and see what they are up to. Jim had them rolling with laughter at a description of what he does and what his research in school was all about. (Oh Jim!!!) Sat was a family picnic and there was a dinner Sat night. It was fun to see some people but weird to see some people. It will take me a few years to decide if I will do this again ask me for the 30th.(Paul, me, Becky, Teri, Danelle, Suzi, Derek)
On Sunday, the four oldest kids had the fun "privilege" of speaking with Grandpa Lindsey in church. They did a great job! We then got to party the night away with Ernie's birthday and Jordan's birthday.
This is Jordan's birthday party but these are the only pictures. It was so fun to see Kati and Alyssa together again. It is so neat that they have such a great relationship!! I love those girls!!
We were able to make Kati's dream come true as she and Jacob went to the "Secondhand Serenade" concert at Thanksgiving Point. It was fun to see her so excited and Jacob had fun too but I know it was more about Kati.
For the 24th of July we went with Sherry and Larry and their family to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. I am so glad we went, I really had fun. Thank you Sherry that was awesome!!
The boys loved the game too. I was a little surprised but not much they are sports fans!!
Grandpa Christensen took us to hike in rock canyon. I think we gave him a heart attack but the kids had a fun time. It is amazing that any kids survive childhood but I guess we can't avoid the fun things just be smart.
Tough stuff!?!?
The kids had fun swimming with Steve and Judy's kids in their community pool. They sure have a good time there.
Kati attended EFY at BYU this year. She had a great time and met some new friends. It has increased her time texting but it is so fun for her to have such good friends.
While Kati was at EFY I took the boys to our traditional trip to the "bounce house" I think it is really called Classic. They played a few video games and played on the blowup slides and then on the water slides. It was fun for them to get some energy out. We had so much fun visiting, playing and relaxing in Utah. Those weeks geared us up for the last and most exciting week of the trip for all of us... to be continued.....
